Welding is best, I guess you could put clamps on it then take it to get welded, just make sure the clamps are really tight so it doesnt rotate downwards, or slide out.

Re: QTP cut-out

I just have to make some adjustments to the exhaust and i dont want to take the time to explain it to some one else. but there is a muffler shop 2 miles from me, so i can get it all on and tightend down good, then bring it to them to weld up.

hey, where is the best place to put it? I was gonna put it in the space 'provided' just before the axle. Does anyone have any pics?

I have it mounted there. Mine is clamped. Dont listen to the internet jockies. Mine works fine. I used a stepped band clamp from jegs. Works great! No pics, sorry.

I didnt really think it would yeild too much of a gain. I just like the way it sounds, but I would like to be able to quite it at night, around cops, or at the wifes parents.

Yup that why I love mine, I can pull up next to a cop at a light and close it, and be quite. Also a cutout usually gains ~5rwhp, there are some dyno graphs floating around the internet with one close and one open to show the gain
