I'm wanting to put my 1998 Trans Am seats in my 1995 Formula. The wiring harness and the air hoses are different. I have 2 extra wires coming out of the 1998 passenger seat than in the 1995. Has anyone done this before, if so please help. I don't care if the passenger seat does not work, I only want the driver seat to work.

 

Only way I've seen it down is with manual seats, never seen a power seat swap.

 

I took 98Z leather power seats & installed them on my son's 1993 Camaro with manual seats. I just transferred the sliders. They are held on to the seats with 4 bolts. The motor & wires are attached to the sliders, not the seat.

 

I got my seats to work.I took the wire harness out of the 1998 trans am and installed it in my 1995 formula.It was plug and play.My seats work great.
