tbyrne or thunderracing.com usually have a sale on the pro 5.0 every other week
just check the sponsors section here
i think they get to about 160 on the gp/sales

also, if you get a t handle, let me know how you like it
i don't ever plan on getting one but i heard they're harder to shift with just because of the way it's shaped

I went from the stock handle to a pistol grip to a T-handle to a ball on my hurst shifter. Couldnt find the right angle with the T-handle. It felt auckward. Pistol grip was ok but I was missing 2 to 3 shifts alot. It stuck out of the console pretty high also. The ball fits good and feels right from any angle.

i had a t-handle on my stock shifter and i loved it. however when i got my hurst short throw, it felt really awkward and could not shift right. if you're leaving the stock linkage i'd get a T-handle. but that's the only way.

I had a chrome B&M T-handle for 3 years on mine. It's a little awkward at first but you'll get used to it.

I have the B & M ripper shifter with the B & M T-handle. You can see a pic of it in my sig. a few pics in. I like it except for the fact that I have the
B & M logo tattooed on the palm of my hand from the handle after sitting out in the hot sun. It turns the handle into a branding iron !
