power lock problem

My door locks don't lock from the inside. They unlock but don't lock. It's the same thing on both doors. Any ideas?

Re: power lock problem

Take off the passenger door panel. That is the master side. Look at the wires for the door switch. There's two black and one orange. See if any of those came loose. If you disconnect the passenger side wires from the switch the driver's side will not work period.

Re: power lock problem

Mine don't work at all from the inside. Orange wire is hot, but I've got no power there. I may have to trace the wires out. That'll be lots of fun under the dash.

Try looking at the black wires that are with the orange wire on the passenger side. Like I said above, if those come loose, none of the locks on either side will work.

Re: power lock problem

I'm trying that today. Hopefully it's a loose wire. I hate tracing them out. Thanks.
