Position of Master Cylinder rod to brake pedal on a 70 Camaro.

I am installing an after market power brake system '70 Camaro. There are two holes on the brake pedal, the original position for master cylinder rod seems like it would be on an angle with the new set up. Should I use the lower hole for power brakes? Is there a reason for the two holes?

Thanks.
