It's been 2 years since I sold my '00 Z/28 for various reasons. I've been putting around in my Tiburon and modding it, but I just miss the muscle car scene.

I was looking at a 1993 Z/28:
The only info I have right now is that the body has 158,000, but the new motor was put in at 100K.



Mods:
Upgraded chip... whatever that means.
Flowmaster Exhaust
Pirelli Tires
Corvette Rims

I'd just like to know what to check for on the LT1 engines. I know that the optispark could be an issue, but what else should I check for. I'm gonna leave work early tomorrow to check the car out.

 

One of the other common problems with the LT1 motor is the rear intake oil leak. With the car having that number of miles on it, I would give it a thorough inspection.
