Thumbs up Pleased with Z28 MPG with big gears!!

So my Z has 4:56 gears. I would have done 4:10 but they were in it so whatever, I am adjusting. Anyway......I calculated my MPG tonight and was THRILLED to see that I am getting 18.3 MPG mostly city driving and a 50/50mix of hard/easy acceleration. To me that was just outstanding news!!

yea, i have 4.10s with a 6spd... on the way out in the gustav evac, i got 5-8mpg? if i did it right... prob about 11-13 hrs of 95%: stop... not go, wait a few seconds... go.. repeat for hours BUT on the way back.i went 250 miles with more than half the tank left. i know our tanks read the first half slower. but it was still give dif. ended up with 25mpg hwy. not had for a cammed camaro eh

It probably is still decent (~26) however he'd have to cruise a bit slower (~60) whereas I get my best fuel economy around 75-78.
