please help

Ok i have a 87 chevy 4 bolt main 350 .40 over it is tbi injected right now with stock heads want to go to a carb got about 300hp but i dont know what size carb intake and cam to go with i was thinking about going with summits carb and intake brand its a duel plain intake with a 750cfm carb vs idle to 6000rpm but im a little nervois about going with it dont really know if its gonna be to much carb for the motor and the brand makes makes me a little nervous but i want it to be more wild than it is allready please help

I'm not very savvy with carbs, but to me it would make sense that the size carb you buy depends on what you do for heads and cam? If you are looking into stock heads/cam I would suggest finding a carb around stock size. If you are building a street/strip motor and have a large cam and ported heads, a 750-850cfm carb would probably work well.

Just out of curiousity, why switching to carb'd?

didnt really care for the for the tbi and dont have the money for any other kind of fuel injection plus this motor going to be put in an older car and i dont want to deal with the computer and wiring

Dont have the money for that the way the economy is and my job cutting my hours i onley have about $600 to spend not much when your looking for performace lol

For the carb, not over 650cfm.... 750cfm is too much, unless you know how to tune and jet...

Combo kit: Summit 03-0125 should be a good start.....
