You have a leak all right. I have a rear main seal like. Been like that for about 3 years. I don't think mine is that severe.

That third pic looks exactly like my car underneath. Mine's been that way for a couple years, but it doesn't seem to be getting any worse. No puddle on the garage floor, just a few drops (but there never seem to be any new ones). I just wipe stuff off whenever I'm under there.

I like those wheels, BTW.

dang u beat me, im at 79,321 miles and i also have a 94 z28 but i have the m6. Real nice shape your car is in. I have the exact same leak from the front main. not bad but it sure leaks. leaves a drop once every 3 times i park in my garage.

Is it really worth it takin the whole front apart to change that or how much do i need to take apart, i wish i could look underneath but i dont have a lift or a basement like you got in your shop.:blah:

I dont think you need a lift to change the front main seal, all you really need to do is pull the front pully/hub then pop out old seal oil up new one slide her in then put it back together, shouldnt be too hard.

My leak looked similar to that-It was the waterpump and/or crank seal. After fixing it, that area remains dry. Always a good feeling

95% of lt1 leak there. nothing at all to worry about. inless you want to drop the oil pan, its not worth fixing.
