Picked up my first LT1... antenna question

So I picked up my Formula today, and I noticed the antenna is down (it's powered). I don't get any radio reception obviously but I don't see any way to put it up. The car has an aftermarket head unit if that makes a difference.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Could be several things. First... I feel bad for saying this but just in case... are you sure it is a power antenna? I have seen some that look like power antennas that are actually antennas you have to pull up and push down manually.

I don't know exactly how yours works so the rest of this is based on the aftermarket ones I put in my 98 and 99 Camaro there are 3 wires and one cable. The cable for the radio signal shouldn't affect whether or not the antenna goes up. The rest you should check... One should be a ground, one should be hooked up to a power source, and a third wire that goes from the antenna to the head unit to signal when the antenna should go up or down and obviously has to be connected to a specific spot on the head unit.

Might want to just take it to a car audio place, I have no idea where the hook up on the head unit would be for the third wire, on mine it is a specific pin on one of terminals. Plus a car audio place should be able to tell you if the power antenna unit itself is broken.

I don't see why it wouldn't be a power one? Take off the plastic piece that covers the jack and see if it is a power one. The owner may have not hooked it up on the aftermarket HU.
