Re: pcv valve

Probably from the dealer. Or since you have a 3rd gen, you might be lucky and find one at an auto yard.

Re: pcv valve

Have you tried a parts store yet, or a Ford dealer? I doubt you would be able to find a PCV valve for that make/model at your local Wal-Mart.

Oh yeah, I forgot to ask, how did the oil pan install go on your third-gen?

Re: pcv valve

It would probably be located on one of the rocker covers, although with a car that age it might just have a breather filter on it and not a PCV setup

I would imagine the engine set up is pretty simple on a car that's 40 years old so it shouldn't be too hard to locate

Yea you have one probably some where on top of the valve cover.
Its been a long time since I work on one of the Ford straight 6's in might be in a metal breather with a vacuum line going to it.
You can get one at Advanced Auto Parts.

Re: pcv valve

Yeah, once you have the new part in your hand you shouldn't have a problem hunting it down in the engine bay.
