I was thinking of cutting off my dual/dual tips and putting on these 3" resonated dual out tips. They're both the ones that are 2.5" that Y out to 2 3" outlets but are resonated and chokes down pretty small. I think they look great, but I dont want to hurt my performance with the inside diameter being so small (like 2", even though that would be like 4 2" outlets) What do you guys think?

I would prefer the non resonated one too, but I bought these for my ex girlfriend's V6 car, and we never got around to the install, but now that I've kicked her to the curb I've got these tips sitting around..

 

sell them and get the top ones??? im thinkin that the resonator might change the sound a little bit too...only reason im sayin that is because my brother and i both have saturns as our beater cars (mine is 96 4cyl dohc and his is 97 4cyl dohc) and we have the pacesetter exhaust from engine back but he has a tip similar to the top on in ur pic w/o the resonator and i have one similar to the middle one w/the resonator and mine sounds terrible compared to his...more raspy and high pitched...

 

I'm gonna put em on anyway, then find out how they work. If all else fails my buddy would love to have them for his is300
