oxygen (02 ) sensor circut symptoms ?

can some1 tell me the symptoms of a bad 02 sensor ? ( '94 z28 ) Is it lack of power in the engine or something that would just go un-noticed ?

Fuel economy goes down, possible sputtering, some power loss depending on the year an SES light may come on.

thanks..Its a 1995 Z28 , it does lack power on take off..

When you first start up the car, is the car peppy at first? Then performance drops off after couple minutes?
