Ok ive got some exhaust questions...
Ok what are the pros and cons of just removing the exhaust after the cat? I know it might sound like s*** but other than that is there anything wrong with doing it? Wouldnt it reduce the low end torque but add high end power? Haha this might sound stupid but is there anything wrong about the exhaust coming out there right under the car, like would it be a fire hazard or anything? Wouldnt it be just like running a cut-out? Ive been thinking about doing this just to see what it would sound like and how it would perform b/c im bored as hell everyday with nothing to do and i was just wondering about it. Ive got a hole in my exhaust after the cat so i dont know if that hurting my performance or anything and this is why i was thinking about doing it.
Also, how hard is it to remove the exhaust after the cat? Do you just unclamp stuff and unscrew stuff or is there some cutting involved? I looked at it once but i forgot how it works. I wouldnt be doing this permantly, just for a while to see how it does and everything.

Re: Ok ive got some exhaust questions...
it's gonna be insanely loud, interior resonance will be so bad that you won't be able to carry a conversation or listen to the radio. and you'll be getting a headache quick.
as for gains, you should see some.
what kind of car are we talking about, would help with the questions about removing stuff.

Re: Ok ive got some exhaust questions...
actually the Lm would be significantly quieter, at least from inside the car, since it dumps the exhaust and sound rearward out the back of the car. it doesn't reverberate between the car floorboards and the pavement.
