Just a general question. What is the propper reading for a LS1 Oil idjit guage to read?? Mines at 60 psi cold, jumps up to max as I give it gas. When it warms up it reads around 60ish. I seam to think it was around 40ish before?? I changed my oil and filter and it still reads high. If its the sending unit ok but Id still like to know what everyone else guage is reading. Thanks

 

55 to 60 psi cold.....slightly above 40 psi at hot idle.

 

Same here, 60 cold, 40 ish hot at idle, 80 if gas applied cold, 60 ish highway.
