My change oil light keeps popping on when I start the engine. It stays on till I've drove a few miles then goes off. I've had my oil changed consistently at 3000 miles and it still pops on and off. Does anyone have the same problem or know why it does it?

 

That's the GM Oil Life System - don't use it myself. To reset it turn the ignition to run, then press and hold the trip/oil change button on the dash until it flashes and gos off. If you want to keep your trip mileage - instead of pressing the button, turn key and depress the gas pedal 3 or 4 times.
