Noise from Camaro while turning in Reverse

I'm not sure what it is yet but the car makes a back squealing sound when back out of a parking space or something. I have also noticed it when driving slow in a parking lot or something. I personally have no idea what to check but its so bad that i can't take it anymore.

May sound dumb, but check your tire pressure.

You may just be hearing the tires squealing on the pavement at low speed....

tire pressure is just slightly below what the side wall says so I'd say thats not the problem but thanks for your input. I not sure how to describe it, whether its a squeal or a squeak but either way it's high pitched and sucks to hear.

Re: Noise from Camaro while turning in Reverse

If you've changed your differential oil (and have limited slip) make sure you put the limited slip additive in it. I forgot to add the oil when I changed the diff. oil in my truck about a year ago and it made some weird noises in reverse, until I put the stuff in it. Mine was more of a clunk noise, but I'm just throwing you an idea. -Logan

Well the rear diff fluid was changed 2k miles ago by local shop so I'd have no idea if they did or didn't. What should I do

Add some GM Limited Slip Additive. The posi unit can make some weird squeaks, pops, snaps, groans when turning slow and tight in reverse or forward, if it does not have the additive.

They would have to tell you. If it was not the GM stuff, it may not work well (most don't). I would just add some.
