No traction on wet roads?

Ok so I know you don;t get the best traction on wet roads and camaros are probably some of the worst at getting it but I think may car hydroplanes a little to much. I was wondering what kind of tires would be better for the wet weather? Right now there are nitto 450 extremes on al 4 rims but they don;t seam to handle the wet weather very well. They are nice for the dry weather but when its wet for get about traction. Anyone with any knowledge on this problem please help me out here.

Some good all weather tires and you'll handle 100x better in the rain.

slow down, and dont drive through lakes. As for tires, kumho ecsta 712's are good in the rain, cheap too.

This probly isnt your problem but, i noticed my car was really sucking in the rain. It ended up being my rear was bent. when u go to get mew tires you might want to ask them to make sure your rear is straight.

Re: No traction on wet roads?

my friend had the nitto 450s on his GSX.... IMO TERRIBLE tires... dry or wet!

almost any all weather tire will see huge improvements...

Goodyear Assurance Triple Tread is a great all weather tire if you need snow too, BF Goodrich KDWs are good for dry and wet, no snow.

Try a bunch out, town fair tire, or another major tire chain store may offer a 30 day money back deal if u dont liek them, so try out a few of hte better rated ones from here or tirerack that you like.

275 Kuhmos handle like a dream in the rain they stick great.

245s, other budget tires they suck...

Hell I drove through the start of a hurricane on 275 Kuhmos and I wasn't hydroplaning, they have like a 1.5 in rain channel down the center.
