No Heat or A/C from HVAC

Just like the subject says... my '97 Z doesn't blow hot air when the dial is turned to heat, nor does it blow cold air when A/C is selected. The car sat for a long period of time and once I started driving it again I noticed neither worked. Any ideas on what would cause both to go out?

Sounds to me that either the vents are stuck or your not getting heat due to a clogged core. I had the vent issue after storage this winter. I just kept trying to get heat, and it finally returned. Search for stuck vents. I cannot remember how to fix them, but its common.

Question is ....is there anything blowing out the vents at all? If it isnt, your problem is with vents or blower motor.

It also could be an issue with a clogged heater and your a/c is dead from the storage. Could give you the symptoms you listed. This would be my guess if you do have air coming from the vents, just not hot or cold...

Yeah air is coming from the vents fine, it's hot when it's hot out and cold when cold outside. I did try recharging the system with those A/C recharge cans but the system still had a charge. I'll check the vaccum lines tonight when I get back from work. Could those disable only the heat/ac though? Or would it disable the whole hvac panel?
