newbie needs help!
hi, i'm new here and am a new camaro owner(97 rs)i currently drive a xcab z-71 and wifey drives a van but we wanted something sporty (camaro)for occasional use. Here is my issues:
1. power window, passenger side. i searched here and read the shoebox link, input power to the motor and it's toast.which to get aftermarket or oem?
2.windsheild wipers, they park in the vertical position?????no relay??? just a fuse and an unfindable overload breaker(according to owners manual )anybody have experience on this?breaker location?
3. Originally a remote door lock/alarm packaged car but no remote came with the car....tried to reprogram a remote from a 2000 gm(looks identical to the one they show in the camaros owners manual) no go on the reprogram....any body have any ideas here....
thanks in advance jmp

I'd get an aftermarket window motor from a local parts store, cheaper than OEM and usually come with a lifetime warranty.
Are you sure the remote is correct/battery good? Look up the FCCID# on the back at http://autotechs.com/fcc/fccidsearch.htm You can also try resynchronizing it - press and hold the lock and unlock buttons down simultaneously for a few seconds - should cycle the door locks and flash the parking lights.
Don't know what's going with the wipers....

get a new window motor... shoebox's site shows how to replace it.
Vertical wiper bit... I read recently (on here) that some "tab" is broken... do a search on "vertical wiper" or something like that...
no clue on the remotes.

wiper, i took pictures but it's hard to see .......there is a spraque type clutch or similar on a spring loaded pivoting "dog" that catches the tab lost it's spring(luckily i found it where the motor sits) put it back on and now it works.....that tab i hae heard from 2 gm techs is very common....
remote previous link settled that and proper one was ordered! thanks for the reply
