Smile New to the site...

Hi everyone, I have been viewing this site for sometime now and I just joined tonight. So thanks for letting me be apart of this group.

My name is Chris and I have a 2002 Camaro Z28. Purchased it a couple of monthas ago.

I already have a question that I can not find on any other site that i belong to or on the web at all.

I need/want to take my front bumper cover off and I can not see to figure out where all the bolts are. I took off the push pins on top. the three under the car, and several bolts all around the bottom as well, but the cover wont budge.

Does anyone have instructions on how to remove the cover and anything elsee that I need to remove to get it off? Remember this is for a 2002 Z28.

Thanks in advance and look forward to getting to know you guys/gals.

Chris

Re: New to the site...

once u remove the 10 or 12 bolts underneath that attach it to the splash guard, and all the push pins top and bottom, pull the splash guards off and the look up inside the bumper from underneath....u should see 2 or 3 bolts on each side taht attach the bumper to the fender with a metal bracket...remove them from each side and then u should be good to go...ur best bet for info like this is to buy a Haynes manual and ull be set...good luck and let us know how it goes
