New LS1 owner

Hey guys I'm a newbie to the LS1 crowed. I own a highly modified LT1 police package Caprice and now added a 98 Z28. I'm already amazed of the stock performance this car has. Where should I start with mods, I assume intake & exhaust? Just wanted to know what recommendation y'all have, vendors, brands, etc...? I plan on doing all bolt ons and upgrades. I dont really want to go into the engine yet, the car has a lil under 50K miles so cam and heads wont be for a while.
One more thing. I have a set of 20's sitting around that were for my Caprice. I plan on getting adapters but do I need to modify anything to get this on? My local tire shop thinks I'll run into problems but I told him I saw other Camaros with 20"s on.

Re: New LS1 owner

If you are into looks thats one thing. Performance and 20's dont go together.

You can get any lid. Just find one you like the looks of or the price or both. A lid is a lid is a lid.

Exhaust, find a sound you like and go for that.

Do not put the 20's on as it would not only not look right but it would hinder performance greatly.

Is it an auto or manual?
