im looking to buy a 2000 ss and i wanted some input on what i should look for such as common problems. also the guy put a short throw shifter in and now it wont shift into third but shifts through the others with ease. could this be a major problem or an easy fix? i am going to look at it tomorrow and try to work out a deal so any input is very appreciated!

 

Need some more info to give you some advise. Like how many miles. As far as price the range from what i have read before is around 7K-12K dollars depending on condition. Some things that may go wrong for an older car, transmission, window motors, tranny mount, and some rattling. heh.
