You NEVER replace a fuse with a larger one. The fuse is there to protect the wiring and devices. You now may have fried wires or circuitry. Very hard to say and can be very expensive to troubleshoot/repair.
You'll need wiring diagrams for whatever car you are working on, a meter and knowledge on how to troubleshoot electrical problems.

As they say in Top Gun... "you NEVER, NEVER, NEVER leave your wingman"... Same thing for a fuse... you NEVER, NEVER, NEVER replace a fuse with a bigger one... Sorry to say it, but you get what you deserve on this one..

Wiring diagram is the only thing that might get you started in a resonable direction... that and looking/smelling for burnt wires etc
