Need a part

First I don't even think this thing can be bought but here go's. My door locks won't work. It's not the wiring or the actuator, it's a small rubber piece that the actuator arm fits in to pull the lock up and push it down. This is a very poor design!!! I've tried to use a few different things to get it to work but I'm not having much luck. Anyone have any ideals if I can get a new rubber piece or am I going to have to get a new lock mechanism?

Thanks

There used to be a service kit to replace those little "bumpers" on the ends of the actuator arms on Olds 88s and 98s...it came with a couple of the rubbers and a couple of locking clips...I am pretty sure the part number was 88948572...it might also be listed under a new number of 31028284. It's about twelve bucks Cdn. Hope this helps.

I guessing its for the 94 formula????????? Might double check with your local dealership...

Left(driver) side kit # 16629243

Right(pass) side kit # 16629242

I just looked at an actuator for your car...and yes the kit I listed above will work for your car, if the others don't pan out.
