I have a 2002 camaro Z28. Yesturday i didnt have my remote to unlock my soors so i just unlocked them with my key. Well the alarm went off like normal but when i got in to start it it would not start. So i unhooked the battery to shut it off and had to go to work. So today i just tried to hook up the battery and theres no alarm but the security light is on solid. Now even with the remote the car will not turn over. I called my local dealership and they said i have to tow it in and put it on the computer to reset it. IS this true or is there anything i can so myself? Please any help will be great.
