Re: need help in buying an Iroc

and what makes it a corvette engine??

cause if it's just the TPI it could be the stock engine. and if it is indeed a 350, be carefull, the 5spd trans doesn't put up with the power of the 350 for long.

It sounds overpriced in my opinion.

If it has the 350 TPI, then that was the same motor put in the Corvette at that time as well.

Re: need help in buying an Iroc

That's definately low milage for that car. If it's a manual, then it's a 305, not a 350. People always say corvette engine just because they are almost the same. I'd say the car is worth at least $5500 if it's in great condition. There are a lot of people who would love to have an iroc with that low of milage. It's really up to you. You can buy a new Camaro with more power for that money.

Check the VIN for the correct engine. 99 44/100% of sellers claim the car has a 350 engine and it a 305. No such thing a Vette engine& manual in a IROC. Price is what the buyer is willing to pay. However: Iwould be careful with that car.
