Does anyone have a sound wave of their LT1 with the SLP Loud Mouth set-up? I'm debating between this and Corsa. I've heard Corsa and I love it, but its much more expensive and it seems as though the power increase would be very similar between the two. So now I just need to hear the SLP. Can anyone help?

Well, I found what I was looking for! For anyone else who wants to know what an exhaust system will sound like on their vehicle before they buy it, try exhaustsoundclips.com. They have a good variety of owner submitted clips.

It's generally accepted that LTs -and- the SLP LM sounds like *** and not too many people like it(I've seen one person like it, and the others all got sick and sold them). I would personally go for an electric cutout instead, it should sound about the same but you'll be able to close it when you have migranes.

Do you think that would be the same with mid tubes? lol i'm assuming that it would be a little noisy at cruising speed? I'm really just going through all of my options before I settle. I do however like the sound of the SLP LM with stock manifolds. Maybe i'll keep that until I decide to do headers. Thanks for the info

 

Also try ls1sounds.com. I went there, heard the Loudmouth clips, and immediately ordered the system . If you're going to get longtubes in the near future, but like the sound of the Loudmouth, maybe you could try the Loudmouth 2? Never heard one myself, but they have a bullet muffler instead of a resonator, and maybe that will help offset the rasp and resonance of the longtubes? But if you're keeping the stock manifolds for awhile, Loudmouth is awesome!
