Mystery Wires (94 Z28)

Well I have some wires on the passenger side next to the kick panel that I am unsure of what they are or where they go. A few of the wires look like antenna wires material but not sure. Here is a pic of them.

It looks like I am missing something from behind the passenger side kick panel.

Thanks,
Mike

Usually the receiver for the remote entry is behind that kick panel so I would assume at some point someone probably removed it from you car. It should be as below. Check your glovebox for RPO AU3, if you have it then it has been removed for some reason or another.

Oh ok, guess I didn't click on everything on the shoebox site or I would have found that lol.

In my box there is a scratch across the sticker but I see an AU3 but I don't see RPO but the keys that came with the car have the lock/unlock controller. So I would assume I need that.

What about those black wires? One looks to be hollow while the other looks to be for an antenna. I will be tracing them to see but if anybody knows off hand would speed up the process.

Thanks,
Mike

All the codes in the glovebox are RPO (Regular Production Option) codes. I didn't mean to confuse you. I'm not quite sure what the other wires are but I'm sure one of the other regulars will have an idea.

oh ok lol. I feel stupid now about the RPO thing lol. Oh well, guess we learn these things somehow.

Well I found that box in a box full of spare parts for the car so that took care of all the connections except those 2 black ones and there is that small black wire and small orange wire.

One of the thick black wires looks just like antenna cable that looks to have a small copper center then a white outer protective coating then the outer black coating.

The other medium black wire looks to be hollow honestly.

Thanks,
Mike

Yeah, I am thinking that orange and black wire might be for a speaker maybe? I can not find any other cut wires to match up.

As for the wire that might be the antenna does anybody know where that wires goes from the dash? I know I can trace it from the dash to that passenger side kick panel but then I can't find the other half. If this wire is for the antenna of course.
