Question Are my o2's bad?

When i start up my car when its cold it runs like i have a bigger cam in it and jerks, always burns a little rich,It run ok after a short warm up, still with the rich smell. Is that a possible bad o2? which one would be the bad one? Bank 1 or 2 I tried the search feature. Even after the car is hot it still has a rich smell from the exhaust. Thanks For any input Dwayne

Are you tripping a SES light?

If so, take it to a local parts store and have them scan it and it'll tell you which side.

Just put a scanner on and watch the mv on the O2s, they should be fluctuating at a high rate. If they are sticking then thats the one thats going out.

I dont have any codes that i know of, it just barely runs until i get it raced up and going down the road, then im good, thought i might need to change one or both of my o2's--would one be more dominant than the other as far as my cranking up problem and rich smell?? Thanks Dwayne

The O2 sensors are not used for mixture control until the motor gets up to operating temp. So I do not think your cold running problem is the O2 sensors.

I would start by checking for a vacuum leak.
