I have noticed after having my cutout for a week it is getting louder. I thought I was just imagining it, but several friends have said the same thing. Anyone have an explanation for this one? Maybe the insides of the cat is comming apart because of less backpressure? It just doesnt make since to me.

 

Maybe you are getting older and can't handle the noise. Seriously though, if your cat was to come apart, yes your exhaust would be noticably louder, but the cats won't be destroyed because of less system backpressure.

 

its probably the weather, i noticed that my exhaust sounds a bit nicer n louder in the cold
