map light replacement question

Does anyone know how to replace the map lights in the rearview mirror attached to the windshield on a 91 Camaro? Both of the lights have burned out, and I do not see any way to get the mirror open to replace the bulbs. I would appreciate any advice on how to get the mirror open.

Thanks for your help.

Re: map light replacement question

On the 94 ( think they are similar ) you need a very small screw driver to put into a small slot in the lense then you will see the bulb (that bulb is way up there!!!)

Re: map light replacement question

Yeah, I just changed mine in my 97, and it's pretty much that same procedure as everything else on these cars:

Stick a flathead in there and start prying....carefully
