LT1- Firebird Question

I know you can put an LS1 Front end on a LT1 Camaro but can you put an LS1 Front end on an LT1 Firebird? And if so has anyone does it?Anyone have any opinions on this?
I found a few 95's and 96's but I really dont like the bumpers...

Re: LT1- Firebird Question

Yes you can swap but you can't just do the bumper if thats all you want. You'd need to do hood, fenders, bumper and lights.

every once in a while I think about doing it to mine, but I haven't done too much research, except to know it can be done.

Re: LT1- Firebird Question

All the body parts + paint cost over $1000, then if you have someone else put it on add probly another $500 minimum. Thats why most people don't swap unless they've been in an accident.

Re: LT1- Firebird Question

Honestly, you'd be better off selling your car and saving up some money for an LS1. I don't know how easy it goes together.
