This will probably end up seeming obvious to me, but here goes. The square lever on the left/top (keep in mind the track is upside down in this picture) raises the seat up, but how on earth do you adjust the seat back down??

The manual seat tracks have one lever (square)to adjust the tilt of the seat, and the other one (hockey stick) is to slide the seat forward/backward. There's no up/down adjustment, that's on the power drivers seat, which has all three adjustments.

ok so do you just pull up on the lever and either lean forward to tilt it forward or lean back to tilt it back? I thought you pump up to go up, but then there is no opposite adjustment. so if it is only tilt that makes sense, but how exactly do you use the lever? thanks

You pull on the lever to release the front of the seat and rock it either up or down, IIRC. It ain't rocket science.

I'll just try to be more aggressive with it then. I couldn't get it to move so I thought I (or maybe the track) was missing something. Now that I know it isn't rocket science I feel much more confident that I'll figure it out
