I have a 94 z28 and the low trac light keeps coming on periodically. Its seems to be doing it when it downshifts in overdrive. It just feels like the transmission isnt downshifting like it should. Any ideas?

 

That ligh comes on when the ABS is engaged (you lose traction when braking)

 

Are you sure your not Spinning the tires That's when mine always comes on, although I'm usually the cause of that

 

Mine comes on if im slideing while hitting breaks.

 

No mine comes on while driving normally. It started a couple of days ago, i was coming back to school and it seemed to come on when the transmission was supposed to downshift. Ive never had it come on like this before, but yes it has come on when ive hit the brakes hard and they had to adjust but never like this. Anyone know of anything else?
