Where should I look? I found a couple different aftermarket companies .. some offering fiberglass hoods and some made with a plastic.. is there anyway to get one from SLP? Also how much can I expect to pay?

Go to some of the sponsers web sites. I have seen several brands available.

 

GM sells once since they make the car. They would charge the most but its an actual GM part.

 

I've heard GM charges at least $1200 for it. Check out www.vfnfiberglass.com they sell one for like $495, and from what i hear, they are the closest to the OEM one, and of very good quality.

 

i figured GM stopped making them .. but I guess some 01's and 02's are still under warranty. I went to that website VFNFiberglass and im just wondering what the difference is between a bolt on hood and a lift off hood.. besides 100$

Suncoast creations has a hood that comes with the lid and filter and everything, but I can't figure out a way to order off the site..

Dont get the suncoast creations hood, i've seen that hood in person, and it doesnt look as good as the real deal. Get the VFN bolt on hood.
