looking at a 1996 z28

I'm looking at a 1996 z28 the one thing that worries me is the rad support was cut for some reason and reattached with a piece of metal. I was told it was for the vert rad mod . SHould i be worried about the rad support being cut?? I am getting a good deal on the car being 100k and 6spd I can get it for 1100

Post some pics of it- depending on how it was done it might be ok..but it might also be someone trying to cover up a hack-job of a front end repair.

If it looks like it was done properly you shouldn't have an issue.

the cut support is about the length of the rad and its got a new piece of metal that is bolted in.. i dont have pics as the car is not at my house. The car runs and drives and is pretty quick i have drove it... let the steering wheel go and it went straight so i dont think the unibody is messed up ..
