light front left impact cause a radiator leak?
my mechanic wrecked my car in the shop the other day (gonna pay to repair it) but the radiator started leaking the same day? all i could see that it did was chip off some paint from the front bumper and busted my left foglight (which is a task in itself with 1/4 thick glass and a 1/4 aluminum case broke where it mounted along with the glass =/ and warped the factory mount) im just curious if anyone things the same collision with a table leg (big metal shop table) couldve also done this or if something else under the table did or if its even possible to do it from a light collision. i can get pics if you think thatll help (digi cam but slightly low quality) oh and if an admin knows a better section to post this under move it plz. thanks
edit: just went out and took some pics they're uploaded to page 2 of my cardomain site. link is in sig. quality of the pics is horrible but you can see where it impacted, hard to tell how bad it hit the fog light in the pics and can hardly see any of the scratches in the door but it give syou an idea of where it hit and how deep the fog light is set in (shows how hard it had to have hit to bust the fog)

Re: light front left impact cause a radiator leak?
Inspect the plastic housing where the drain petcock is located. It protrudes through the metal radiator support and may have cracked (weak point).
Re: light front left impact cause a radiator leak?
alright ill check that tomorrow morning when the daylight comes back, thats one reason i went ahead and took the pics sun was about down. also it may help if i mention that it looks like the antifreeze is leaking out of where the transmission line use to lead out at the bottom (i have an aftermarket trans cooler and opted not to use the one inside the radiator anymore, seems to run cooler that way also after i saw this i was VERY glad i didnt use it) any idea what would cause one to do that if this isnt a partial cause?
