Left turn signal doesn't blink.

When I engage the turn signal to the left, the indicator lamp comes on and stays on -- no blinking. I haven't checked to see what the actual signal bulb does yet. The right signal works fine.

Anyone had this happen? If so, what was the problem?

Hit the 4 ways and see if all the bulbs are blinking... Could be a bulb, socket, flasher, or the turn switch, etc..

It's normally a bulb filament.

Heh, somehow this thread fell off my radar without me seeing these responses. Thanks for the input; I'll check the bulb (was going to do that anyway) and try the 4-ways (good idea; didn't think of that).

I have checked and now determined that the rear signal light comes on and stays on, in unison with the dash indicator. The front signal never lights.

That would point you to that front light, eh?

Check your tail lights. Mine does that when one of the tail lights is out.

If the back is staying solid and the front isn't lighting up, I can (almost) guarantee you it's your front bulb.
