Ok, so my left turn signal light indash stays on and so does the rear blinker itself. My DRL doesn't turn on, so I figure that it's just a bulb that needs to be replaced. They're 3057s right?
Also, what's the easiest way to replace the bulb? Just go over and under the headlight housing? I don't have a toolset.

Yeah they are the 3057LL bulbs. I replaced mine by going under the car, there is a flap that you fold down to get to the bulb. It has 2 bolts holding the flap, take those off, fold down, I think you have to take 2 or 3 other screws out to remove the blinker. Change out the bulb, put it back on and you're done.

Do you know the bolt sizes by chance? I'm sure I could use tools at work as long as I'm quick with them.Originally Posted by 98mustang_vert

I think the bolts holding the flap are 10mm, the bolts holding the turn signal are 8mm, might be smaller though, I don't remember the exact size. Sorry. But once you have the right size it shouldn't take long at all to change out.

Sounds more like the DRL module might be bad. Same thing happened on my 97 except it was the right side that didn't work. Hopefully it's just the bulb, but if that doesn't work it's probably the module.
