Left blinker doesnt blink. Just stays on.
Re: Left blinker doesnt blink. Just stays on.
my car is doing this at the moment but its the left side. but if i reach up to the front turn light and wiggle it itll work till i hit a bump. this tells me that its a bad connection somewhere. going to have to take a look at it.
Re: Left blinker doesnt blink. Just stays on.
I too have the same exact problem, although I checked and replaced my bulbs and it did not help it.....where is there a "connection" to look for?! Seems like that could be anywhere...I also already replaced that silver cap like transistor of sorts under the dash, with no luck either...
shady54 let me know if you get yours fixed and where it went, I will likewise do the same, I am going to take another look

Re: Left blinker doesnt blink. Just stays on.
Well I just took the car out and it worked fine? wtf. Was on my way to get a new bulb and suddenly started to work. I think I am going to change the bulb anyways just in case. What would make it stop working, then work again?
Re: Left blinker doesnt blink. Just stays on.
The same thing happened to me and it was the bulb.
The part number for the GE bulb is 3157.
The best way to change it is to go under the car and remove the plastic splash panel which is held on by about 8 screws. Once this is removed, you'll see the inside of the turn signal. The main DRL bulb is on top and it takes about 1/4 turn to unlock it. Once it's unlocked, just gently pull it out and pull the light bulb out and put the new one in. It took me about an hour to do this (first time), so just take your time. Good luck.

Re: Left blinker doesnt blink. Just stays on.
I have the same problem. It works occasionally, but sometimes when I hang a left it ticks really fast, the back one is blinking fast but the front one is not working at all. I got so mad when it happened I kicked the lens, and it started working again. So does that mean bad connection? Dirty? Or what?
Re: Left blinker doesnt blink. Just stays on.
Check your blinker fluid might be low ...lol Just kidding its either the bulb or you got a lose wire that when you hit a bump is causing a short or the bulb is lose.clean your connections to. good luck
Re: Left blinker doesnt blink. Just stays on.
Don't think its the light sockets. Car have never been driven in the winter and maybe see's rain 2 or maybe 3 times a year. I changed bulbs and i will see if it comes back.
Re: Left blinker doesnt blink. Just stays on.
the socket is a common thing with these cars, you wash it, dont ya? well then it gets wet in there.. therefore corrodes and causes problems..
Might not be this in your case, but I wouldnt X it off your list quite yet...

Re: Left blinker doesnt blink. Just stays on.
ok so i have been busy and just got around to looking at my turn signal. i reached up there ( while signal was on) and took the light out of the lens so i could see what i have to do too make it blink again. (the wires are still connected just not onits holding place) and way, i jiggle it a bit and it blinks i stick it back in and it still blinks. so i turn off the car. take out the t-tops. turn it on try her out and nothing go to look at the light nothing. solid inside nothing out side. now this time when i put it an jiggle it it doesn't do anything. after playing with it for about10 minutes. i have decided its just a bad bulb and was just on its way out. o well easy fix glad its nothing major.
