what are the little things that come on a "bare block"

what i mean all i need to do is oil pan, oil pump,crank, connecting rods bearings, seals, pistons and that would be the bottom end. like i said knew to the engine building thing.

reason i ask is im debatin building the motor from the block up or buying a motor and rebuilding that? what yall think

i want it to be beastky buy not i have to go to the gas station everyday.
budget prolly under 1500.im thinkn pistons,cam and le1 heads and longtube headers. what ya think.

If you have never built an engine before, it may be more than you can handle. There are a lot of things to know. Not a problem if you are mechanically inclined, have all the tools you need and are willing to do your homework.

yea i mean we built ine in autotech, and dad use to build them when he was younger, reason i wanna rebuild is i dont wanna buy it for 10,000 miles then have i blow up
