I've got the MAC's with a loudmouth. I wouldn't say it's all that loud IMO. There is rasp though. Not so much that I want to take the loudmouth off but it's there and is a bit annoying.

What are you using to cut off the catback? When I was lopping off my old exhaust, I was using an air powered cut off wheel. Due to its size, I was having a hard time cutting the pipes as well. I went to Sears and bought an electric reciprocating saw and had the whole exhaust off in a matter of minutes. As for the 02 sensor, those can be a real pain. Usually the best way is to heat it up with a torch and then try to dislodge it.

Spray lots of PB Blaster on the O2. For the catback, you need to cut it in 2 places: basically in the bends of the pipe that goes over the axle. I used one of these:

And I have LTs, catted Y, and LM, and the rasp actually cleaned up a bit. It didn't get that much louder, except at WOT. But then I have cats, I'm sure no cats would make it louder and raspier.

I'd place money on it that you'll have to put a lot of heat on that O2 to get it out. No amount of PB Blaster is going to help if it is anything like mine was, the guys at the shop had to heat it to get it out.
