Improving 1/4 E.T.

I am not all that happy with my 1/4 times. I have only ran a 13.76 @ 104.12 and I think that it should be a lot lower than that. I know part of it is my 60' times as they are only around 2.25 (on BFG KDWs). Judging by my mods below and my trap speed, what kind of times do you think I SHOULD have and do you have any suggestions on getting there? Thanks in advance for the help.

Maybe it's time to do some suspension mods? Your MPH shows you could have a low 13 to maybe even a high 12 second car so your car is putting out the power it's just not putting it to the ground efficiently enough. Maybe some subframe connectors, lower control arms with relocation brackets, and a torque arm might help. The last time I was at the track I was doing a 13.9 at 102.6 MPH so I was having the same problems as you, my 60 foot sucked. So this winter I put in subframes, tubular control arms, relocation brackets, drag bags, panhard rod, torque arm, etc. but I havent been to the track to see how much of a difference this all made but I will be going around the end of May so I can tell you then how much of a difference just suspension can make.

Time to drop some pressure in the tires. If you dont want to spend any money on suspension or tires this may help you drop a couple tenths and help your 60'. Might sacrifice some MPH but it will help you hook up.

Re: Improving 1/4 E.T.

I pull out the acoustic stuff for the track as well as the spare. And my tire pressure was around 20 psi. I am planning on getting lower control arms soon for sure. Anybody have any tips on launching techniques?
