I am not really sure if this is the correct place to put this but would this swap be worth it. I have a 95 camaro with a new lt1 and t56 that I am thinking about selling. I have a (95? not sure how to tell) impala lt1 and t56 laying around. I have the wiring harness for the impala and would like to keep the camaro lt1/t56 if possible for my other car. Will the wiring harness for the impala motor plug into the camaro or will it be more hassle than it's worth. I know I have to change the computer, pedals shifter and all the basic stuff but how hard will it be to get the electronics to work?
Any help will be appreciated.

 

Impala engine harnesses include the fuse box, so it's not going to be plug and play with the f-body. How much you are willing to do to make it work is up to you. IMHO, your best bet is the harness that fits the car body.

 

How hard is it to convert each harness to work with each other then. I know I would have to add some wires to the m6 harness to accomodate for the a4. Would the impala computer plug into the camaro? This is probably going to be more work than it's worth.
