Question Im new and in need of help

Ok, i want to buy a 99 camaro which I found in the local paper. It has ground effects, is not an ss but has an ss hood. Dual flowmaster exhaust. two 12" Jl audio subs in the back, custom fit to the car. Neon underglow. The engine has been very well kept. I really like the car, but it has 90,000 miles on it, and the owner wants $7,000. Is this a deal because of all the extras, or should the price go down because of them.

Re: Im new and in need of help

is this a v6 or a z28?

by the way. those extra's wont make the value go down.. they arent anything big.. the system/hood will probably make the price go up a little

and if you do get the car. please have the first thing that you do.. .. take off the neon lights and throw them in the trash.

That seem's kinda pricey to me for a v6. But I may be wrong.

I wouldn't touch a V6'er for 7K. But, NADA does book it out at 5,400 trade-in and 7K retail and that was with the basics... so, it's up to you in the end. If it's the car you need to get, then get it. But i'm with Donohue, if you do buy it, trash the neon!

several years a go I bought a 99 V6 T-Top auto camaro with 65K miles in PERFECT shape, not a flaw on it for 6k, and we are talking 3-4 years a go.

Keep looking. I spent $5000 last March on my 95 Z28 with only 90,000 miles on it. Perfect body and interior. Came with leather, bose stereo and 6 speed trans.
