ignition switch differences

Tired of messing with that stupid interlock cable... somebodys had it out an put it back in and didnt route it right or something so it keeps breaking the thing off the ignition switch. I think im fixin to start having problems with the stupid thing again as it did its tell tale signs the other night driving home on the highway at 3am..... I looked at shoeboxs wiring diagram and it looks like the neutral safty/clutch pedal switch run off the same wire. so other than the interlock cable, are the switches the same? Anybody buy the cheaper manual switch and put it in an auto without problems or having to modify anything?

I don't know for sure, but I would guess the only difference is the part of the switch for the cable.
