Problem is she has put tight restrictions on what i can buy, Thats why i need some help here, Only A Convertible Stick Shift Either Mustang Gt/cobra or Trans Am is her fav, Or Camaro Her least Fav. Now I want Answers On reliability And Fun Factor For her......And no this is not a B-S thread My Wife is Puuuurty Cool..... Please help I also Am a Hyundai Tech Here in florida so i know what its like to work on cars so remember when she breaks it i gotta fix it/ and i dont want a lemon tks for the help

F body is probably going to be more reliable, also easier to find. But nether car has a reputation for the best reliability.

 

03 04 cobras can haul the mail. If you dont plan to mod it. 03 04 cobra is the way to go. 390hp stock. If you do plan to mod it, 03 04 cobras can still haul the mail . If I was you, id test drive all of them and see what you enjoy the most.

More bang, yes. For the buck? No. F-bodies are cheap; Cobras are still fairly pricey. Looking on AutoTrader, it looks like an '03-04 Cobra sells for ~25K. You can get an '01 WS6 for 10k (and it gets better gas mileage too). Or you can get a C5 Z06 (faster than the cobra, better handling and braking, better fuel economy, and a hell of a lot cooler) for 25K.

 

I'd have to agree with that. But then women just seem to love Mustangs. But I would still say WS6. My brother has a black 99 WS6 and that thing just looks sick.

I would buy a LS1 T/A WS6 with a blower before i spent the same cash on a blown Mustang.

Or a Corvette, unless you guys have kids and need a back seat.

there ya go. you can pick up an 01 or 02 WS6 with 70k miles or so for less than 15k now. Cobra's are way higher priced. faster, yes, however for 15k a WS6 is a helluva car.
