A.I.R Injection Lines to Cats - How factory attached??

How is the A.I.R Air injection tube that hooks from the air pump to the Catalytic converts attached? I am ordering a new A.I.R line as mine broke and cannot be fixed.

I run my car without the 2 cats and was thinking that IF the line to the airpump is THREADED and if the other two ends are threaded (perhaps they thread to the FACTORY CATS as apposed to the WELDING for universals and aftermarket cats).

If the lines are threaded, when I take OFF the cats (after passing emissions testing each 2 years) rather than having 2 lines dangling and smacking against the frame that perhaps I could simply UNSCREW IT the line to the A.I.R pump, and UNSCREW it (would involve making threads in the Air lines that come out the 2 cats but should should not be a problem) from the two high-flo cats.

Right now the cats are flanged onto the exhaust so they can be easily removed, not so with the small air lines. Plus once the Straight thrus are replaced for the cats for normal driving, the now unattached air lines end up vibrating and banging into the frame of the car.
