I've been able to snag them for around 85 bucks, but that has been a couple of years ago, maybe things have changed.. I've since switched over to Optimas.

That's a fair price for a Delco, but for another $20 you could have a leak-proof Optima

I just picked one up and it was about $85, so little high but not too bad.

GM list is 119.95 so yeah you didnt make out too bad. but the old days of cheap parts is gone, especially on camaros.

also for they guys that are into dealer parts, find a gm counterman who is sympathetic to F-bodies. they will usually help you out on pricing.

Delco's are decent batteries till the positive terminal breaks off for no reason... Waste of $100 IMHO.

Be careful with those Delco batteries, my buddy had his leak at the positive terminal under warranty, new one leaked two years later.

I was a big Delco battery fan until one leaked and tore up the engine compartment. Been using Optima batteries ever since

The OEM Delco leaked all over the car. I replaced with an Optima. No more Delcos!

The only ones that I've seen do that where over tightened. Just like the one in my then new truck. They were over tightened at the factory do to an incorrect torque setting.

BTW, optima batteries can NOT be charged with any conventional battery charger.

I much prefer an Interstate battery. Made by Johnson Controls, can be charged with any battery charger and you can get them from several sources at varying prices. No quibble replacement although I've yet to encounter a problem even when 4 wheeling in the truck.

Even had a rocket scientist customer charge his BACKWARDS and they still replaced it under warranty.

If that's what you paid then that's what they cost
